The hulk of PZ 295 Marie Claire, built as MFV 1546 by Rowhedge Ironworks near Wivenhoe in Essex in 1945, and in common with other boats in her class she was built of oak planking on grown oak frames and measured 97’ in length, with a beam of 22’ 6” and a draught of 11’ 6”.
